I just love all of your suggestions! I have really just played to death your last play list dancing and working out in my living room and going right to Spotify now for your next one 💃and then outside to look for a stranger to give a big smile.

What a gorgeous cover?! I would frame that. I love Renee's cookbooks and cannot wait to add this one to the collection. That gratin sounds divine!

This whole post is “delicious” in every way, Colu! Ordering Renee’s book, love your list and can’t wait for Colu x Christene ❤️ ps - have you ever tried Barry’s tea? I love PG tips, too, and Barry’s makes another fantastic cuppa. 🫖

Great list and I do much of the same. It’s amazing how many birds and critters come out around 5pm in Boulder this time of year! Love the deck this time of year.

This recipe is the fancy version I want of my grandmother's "cauliflower and cheese" and I'm putting it on my Christmas menu. Also, I've been trying to start a "smile at a stranger" campaign for years!

Oh yes! Love the description. Smiling at strangers is the best and I'm glad you agree.

YES to all the nurtures— love this! I've been a big fan of the impromptu phone these days. Not just instead of emailing, but also a sidestep to scheduling a call. Sometimes scheduling makes it feel like more than what it actually needs to be (and work!). If the friend on the other end picks up, but only has five minutes, it's five minutes more than nothing. And those five minutes are often SO good!

Yes, yes, yes to all! Pick up the phone and just call me! I sang that.

I love Getaway and cook from it all the time (the roast beef crostini are guest staring at this weekend’s (Canadian) Thanksgiving cocktail hour.)

I can’t wait to pick up this book.

Thanks for sharing all the tips! ✨

Voice memos forever!! They are the best, second only to a good phone call when you have the time-are in the mood. Also, the flavor if this gratin--and access to your playlist, both sound like good medicine to me. 🤍

I'll look into it. In the meantime, you can use what's in the body of the email.

Of course. But I hoped to print a copy. Doubtless the reason you included a link.

I always loved creamy cauliflower gratin with nutmeg ever since I learned to make it in Paris years ago.

Now I need to eat healthy. Could I use Greek yogurt instead of the cream?
