Nothing like Rummo. I make Pierre Franey’s Provencale Fish Stew including 7 fishes. This year: Clams, mussels, shrimp, lobster, calamari, scallops, halibut and swordfish.
This looks fantastic, Colu! We never counted the number of fish but we always had a big seafood feast on Christmas Eve. My favorites were the braised calamari and fried skate wings, and the pasta with tuna-tomato sauce. Buon Natale 🎄

So glad to see all the mentions of the fish feast being strictly an Italian-American festival, and a mighty venerable one at that. I get tired of explaining to American visitors that, no, they won't find a feast of seven fishes in a Roman restaurant, which is probably closed for Christmas anyway. Just as they won't get a coffee if they order a latte in a Roman bar, and they'll probably get a weird look if they ask for "a panini". But your spicy linguine actually sounds like a great start to the festive season, thanks, Colu, auguri e Buon natale! Nancy
This looks incredible. I’ve never done a feast of the seven fishes but feeling inspired to try next year. ❤️
Thanks for making such a cozy, and delicious, corner of the internet, Colu. Wishing you guys such a lovely Christmas 🎄✨

I am so jealous!!! I have been dying to get there since hearing about it opening in NYC. It's on my 2024 bucket list. Love Rummo pasta, too :)
Midnight pasta AND Dungeness crab?? My dream meal.

When you said Roscioli I immediately thought of their carbonara. I've been thinking if it often for about 10 years 😁
