Do you think this recipe would translate to parts of a chicken instead of a whole chickens

I do! I would adjust cooking times as parts will take less time!

I'm so sorry for this loss, Colu. We lost someone this year (Aubrie ) that I had only known a short time but had a profound and instant connection to; I understand that all loss is painful. To your friend Tim, with extra love. And to slow starts. xo

Thank you, Sarah. I was so saddened to hear about Aubrie too. I didn't know her personally, but was following her journey and in awe of her talent. I'm so sorry for your loss too. Sending love. xo

Happy New Year, dear Colu. Such a treat to picture Sugo barreling through fresh snow. Thank you for this beautiful tribute to your friend. I look forward to making A Dirty Bird--and to toasting Tim multiple times as I do 💗🥂

I think my word for 2024 is "learn." Professionally I'm always learning, but I wrote a note over the holidays to deep dive more. I have my nose in market gardening books right now, as that's a daydream that's becoming a reality. On a personal level there's the drive to learn from those around me, from my wins but most likely from my mistakes.

"Learn" is a very good one. Mistakes are often our (!) greatest teacher.

Dear Colu, I am so sorry to read about your friend Tim. Sending you love and condolences. I like your choice of word for the year. Mine is "patience" because I don't have much. We'll see...Sharing your (Chad's) chicken recipe with my son and his gf as I think they would love it.
