Could I leave out the crème fraiche because of health issues or I read the recipe link you added about Poulet Gaston Gerard and it suggested sour cream if you couldn’t find crème fraiche. Thank you so much for your help and your delicious recipes. I have several on rotation and they are so delicious and comforting.

Hi Susan! Because sour cream has less fat, it will curdle in the heat. I would cook the chicken without it and stir the sour cream in after it comes out of the oven and sits for a few minutes. Worth a try! Glad you're enjoying the recipes! Xx
