Welcome to Colu Cooks, a companion to my recently released (second) cookbook, Colu Cooks: Easy Fancy Food and video series. I’ve worked in food for over 15 years and have learned what resonates with home cooks by creating elegant and approachable recipes without overthinking it.

I’m here to inspire home cooks to make simple, yet sophisticated dishes you’ll feel proud of. I also love telling stories through food and about the people I’ve chosen to surround myself with and the places I’m lucky enough to visit, so you’ll see some of that here too. I’ll also be sharing things that I think should be on your radar, because if I like them, I’m confident you will too. Oh, and we’re on the midst of restoring an 1866 farmhouse in Nova Scotia, so you’ll be getting some house updates!
