Hi Kathy! They are! Sometimes I fry some to keep for sandwiches and soups. If for sandwiches I would cook them for a longer so they are cooked through, probably about 10 to 12 minutes. So pleased you're enjoying the book too.

For non-pork people would you do 2 lbs beef? Or poultry? Or just cut the recipe in half since we are just 2 people anyway? ❤️
Absolutely fine to use all beef or beef and turkey or cut in half. But, sometimes I’ll fry them all and freeze some out of sauce for future use! ❤️
