I loved reading this! Your miso lime dressing is so good, and now I can't wait to use it as a marinade for chicken thighs. YES to the recipe for charred green beans and fennel Caesar with basil!!
I can't wait to try it! I first made the dressing for your little gems salad with avocado and pistachios and served it alongside your harissa glazed salmon (both were a hit!). Then I repurposed the leftover dressing by adding a bit of sesame oil and drizzled it over soba noodles, thinly sliced raw snap peas, sliced shishitos that I charred, some grilled chicken, and some fresh cilantro and basil. This dressing instantly makes any meal! I'm immediately rethinking my plan for next week so I can integrate it as a marinade. Thank you as always for the wonderful recipes and cooking inspiration!
I tried your beach sandwich recipe for tea today - I used cheddar and green onions with a whole grain miche and it was delicious. Even my picky husband wiped his out.
Just dynamite to find a fellow food writer, and your food photography is A+ across the board. Really sumptuous, and not everyone can pull that off well. Nice work. Again, congrats on breaking 14K subscribers -- that's no small feat. Cheers and nice to meet you, Colu! - Seth ✦
Yes to the green beans and fennel salad! This was such a fun read and full of ideas too. 🩷 Our go to sandwich is a pan bagnat…..always love tuna. fresh tomatoes and home grown basil in the summer!
Thank you so much, Maureen! Glad it gave you some ideas too! That's a brilliant sandwich idea for the beach. YUM! Ok, will work on that recipe for you! xx
